The CGO800S is equipped with a quiet Mivice M070 rear hub motor that delivers 250 watts and 40 Nm of torque. The CGO800S Plus features a Tenways C9 hub motor with 250 watts and 45 Nm of torque. The motor works in tandem with a torque sensor, making it feel as if you're simply pedaling with more power. Instead of a traditional chain, the CGO800S uses a Gates Carbon Belt Drive which is a low-maintenance belt drive that rides quietly and cleanly. The CGO800S Plus uses a chain due to its gearing system. The pedal assist is powerful yet refined, and it automatically stops at 25 km/h, in compliance with European regulations.

Range and charging

The integrated lithium-ion battery offers a maximum range of around 100 kilometers, depending on factors like riding style and terrain. The battery is removable, making it easy to charge both on and off the bike. A full charge takes approximately four hours. This flexibility makes the CGO800S/Plus ideal for both short daily trips and longer urban commutes.

Comfort and safety

For maximum comfort, the CGO800S/Plus comes with a suspension SR Suntour front fork that smoothly absorbs road imperfections. The CGO800S features a low-maintenance belt drive, whereas the CGO800 Plus uses a Shimano Claris 8-speed chain drive which is ideal for those seeking more control over shifting on varied terrain. The CGO800 Plus is also equipped with a more powerful Tenways C9 motor offering 45 Nm of torque compared to 40 Nm in the CGO800S, resulting in better acceleration and climbing ability. Additionally, the Plus version has a larger battery (475 Wh), providing a longer range. All these extras bring the weight of the Plus version to approximately 24 kg, compared to 19 kg for the CGO800S. This makes the CGO800S ideal for those who prefer a light, quiet, and maintenance-free city ride, while the CGO800 Plus is better suited for riders tackling longer or more varied routes and needing extra power or gear options.
